Setting Sail
I don't know much about these guys as there isn't a whole lot of info on their myspace page. I just know that they're a ska band from Ft. Lauderdale and that their music is absolutely adorable! They've played places like Solid Sound Studios, The Talent Farm, The Mill, and Revolution. Here's a couple videos I found of them playing at Revolution. You can't see them too well but they sound great! Hopefully I'll get the chance to see them play a show. Gotta keep my eyes and ears peeled for Setting Sail. If you wanna hear more of their tunes check out their myspace page. | Setting Sail playing at Revolution

King Rooster
King Rooster is another ska band from Ft. Lauderdale but they have a different sound. Its a harder heavier but no less fun ska. They remind me of Voodoo Glowskulls or Mustard Plug. Check out their myspace page for more songs. But in the meantime here's a video

Bedouin Soudclash - Walls Fall Down
Ok I gotta blame my husband for this one. He listens to music in the shower and every time I heard this song play I would listen to it and swoon. Its just sooooo pretty. The song is called Walls Fall Down and while there are some ska elements in it, I wouldn't really consider it a ska song. Their myspace lists them as Reggae/Dub/Soul but its def got that Jack Johnson/Jason Mraz feel to it. What do you think?
| Bedoin Soundclash is a Reggae/Dub/Soul band from Toronto. While their style isn't typical of these genres, there's no doubt they make beautiful music. Check them out on myspace to hear more of their music.

Here's their music video for the song "Zombies" | I thought it was sooo cool that some high school kids covered one of their songs. Check it: |
