What happened to the Mission Ska Show? 04/13/2010
Some of you guys might be wondering what happened to the show I was planning. Well after many setbacks I decided not to do the show thing. It was just too much of a mission between the venues who wanted me to jump through hoops and bands that wanted to get paid a certain amount, I started to wonder why I was putting myself in the middle. I'm the only one that wanted to do it for the love of it. Everyone else was trying to make a living. So it wasn't working. Thats not to say that I'll never put on a show. If I find the right bands and a cool venue then I'll put something together. But in the meantime don't come to me to book your show. I'll give you the info about the venues but you're on you're own to make it happen. Sorry guys. But I'm working hard to make this site as informative as possible so that you can get all the info you need to make your show happen. And I'm always here to lend a hand. Add Comment After my last experience with Big D in November, I was super excited that they were coming back in Feb. I made my Big D shirt, I made cupcakes for them, I was all ready to go. But wouldn't you know it, 2 days before the show I catch my husband's cold. OH NO!!!! I CAN'T MISS THIS SHOW!!! So I start a full frontal attack on this cold. BAM nyquil, BAM vitamin C, BAM vitamin D, BAM juice, BAM lots of rest. I fought it with every fiber of my being. I even popped some Dayquil before the show. Just so I could make it through the night. Once the show was over, it could take me. I didn't care if I was bedridden the rest of the week, I just needed to make it through this damn show.
